Recycling & Salvage Secrets - The Manual

Update 06/20/2009: I've decided to give away the manual and all the knowledge that I've gained during my years in the recycling and salvage business. The economy is really hard right now for many of us. I don't want to burden you with yet another expense. I want to make it as easy as possible for you to learn to be successful at bootstrapping your own economic recovery.

Over the next days and weeks I'll be adding new pages from the draft that I have been working on and reorganizing this website. There will be both news, resources, how-to articles and more related to recycling and salvage.

BTW the meaning I give to these words is as follows. By recycling I mean to take previously produced items and break them down as raw materials for new production - glass for bottles, cans for all sorts of aluminum things, gold for its many uses, etc. By salvage I mean to recover previously produced items and put them back into service. Reused lumber, plumbing, agricultural supplies, auto parts, items for alternative energy systems, etc. all fit into this category.

It's still very worthwhile to read the following pages as I do the reorganizing and add new material. Many have told me that these existing pages have inspired them to jump into the business and they've done quite well.

-----------------

First, the bad news (stay with me: we'll get to the good news in a moment)

Living in the 21st century is not so easy. Things are getting rough for many of us and I'm afraid they're going to get even rougher. Recent headlines include government layoffs, deficit spending, cuts in social programs, retirements evaporating. Housing is unaffordable for many, jobs that pay a liveable wage are getting scarce, decent blue collar jobs have been exported. Increasing numbers of us go without healthcare. The list goes on and on and on and the headlines only indicate the "tip of the iceberg." What will happen to us, to our children, to our communities? It is becoming more clear each day that you and me, all of us, are on our own.

On our own? At first, this is a very frightening thought especially for those of us who have traded our time, skills, knowledge, dedication and loyalty -- our very lives -- for a decent living and retirement -- a job or career -- only to end up on the losing end of the deal. Discouraging and disillusioning? Yes! Irreversible? NO! There's a way for you to take control and take back your life!

And now, the good news

I say NO because there is a way for you to recover, a way for you to get back what was lost. This trade you made and lost with others, you can make with yourself and win. You can become your own best employer, assuring enough money for a decent life for yourself and your family and a happy retirement.

In short, you can easily learn to use the tools and knowledge that I provide to earn a good, steady income without killing yourself -- some days are actually downright easy. It's a home based business that you can run out of your home, day in and day out, or, if you like, expand to most any size that suits you. Bootstrapping (meaning you don't need a pot of cash to start) opportunities abound.

Think back to those times that you had a good idea, took the initiative and you were never recognized for it or benefitted in any way. (Some of you were even chastised or worse for doing this -- I know, I've been there!). Does this ring a bell? Now YOU can reap the benefits of your own intiative, good ideas, drive, time and energy.
